Our terms of service that apply to all our clients and subscribers.

REQUIRED CLIENT ACTION


To enable this site to create your website, you must complete the onboarding questionnaire ASAP. This includes forwarding your logo, imagery, and text content. A limited variety of free stock images are available for use on your website.



DOMAIN REGISTRATION


Registration of your domain name can be purchased and managed on your behalf by this site. If you already own a domain and it is transferred to our domain management service, then this site can manage the configuration and pay for the renewal when it is due.



EMAIL ACCOUNTS


If you require a hosted email account (IMAP), we offer a 10GB mailbox with every plan. If you require your emails to be managed through Google Workplace or Microsoft Exchange, this site will make the necessary configuration to your domain, if we control it. Should you wish to use a 3rd party email provider, our service does not include the setup of the email account – You will need to contact your chosen email provider for assistance setting up your email.



SCREEN SIZE OPTIMISATION


Every effort is made to optimise your website to be viewable on all screen sizes and mobile devices. However, this site cannot guarantee perfect results for every screen size. Your website will be tested on the following screen sizes; 23.8”, 19.5”, 13.3” (Desktop & Laptop). And 9.7” and 4.7” (Tablet & Mobile).



SEARCH ENGINE VISIBILITY


this site will optimise your website using appropriate titles, keywords, descriptions, and text for basic search engine rankings and index your site to the Google search engine.


this site will use basic search engine optimisation techniques to work on your website. this site does not make any guarantees about placement in the search engine result pages. Every search engine employs a custom algorithm to determine its rankings. It is important to realise that obtaining substantial search engine improvements must include a detailed marketing plan, which is outside the scope of this service.



COPYRIGHTS & TRADEMARKS


You unconditionally guarantee that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, or other artwork furnished to this site for inclusion on your website are owned by you or that you have permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements and will hold harmless, protect, and defend this site from any claim or legal suit arising from the use of such elements provided by you.



INDEMNIFICATION


You agree that you shall indemnify, save, and hold this site harmless from any and all liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including legal fees associated with this site development of your website.



DESIGN CREDIT


You agree that this site may put a small graphic at the bottom of your website establishing design and development credit. You also agree that the website created for you may be included in the this site portfolio.



PAYMENTS


Your initial investment payment, ad-hoc payments, and monthly subscription will be collected automatically by your Credit or Debit card.



100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE & REFUNDS


this site will continue to modify the presented website until you are 100% satisfied.


Refund requests should have a legitimate reason, which must be reasonable against the design template and the answers you proviced in your onboarding questionnaire. Should you wish to pursue a refund, you must have given this site reasonable time to carry out any design revisions. Additionally, you will be eligible for a refund if you have been adequately involved in the design process, as determined by this site. Under no circumstances will any refund be entertained once the website is published live to your domain.


If this site made a 3rd party purchase for your domain name, this fee will be deducted from your refund.



SERVICE RETAINER


Retaining this site for ongoing website modification is an optional service available for all clients and covers the following;


  1. Changing or updating text and images on existing website pages.
    • If you'd like to make any modifications to the text or imagery on your website, please send us an email with the relevant content. Client to provide content in original formatting.
  2. Adding new blog/portfolio posts.
    • Send us your blog article with a featured image and category, and we'll add it to your website. Client to provide content in original formatting to avoid mistakes.
  3. Creating simple text-based pages.
    • We can create new web pages with basic styling using just the heading and paragraph elements, provided it is within the page limit of your subscription.
  4. Duplication of existing pages
    • Expanding the size of your website by copying a previously-made page and changing the content is possible. Duplicating a service page, for example, is an advantageous option if your business wishes to provide further offerings in the future. Just send us the new content, and we will add it to a duplicate page, provided it is within the page limit of your subscription.
  5. Adding new images to a gallery/portfolio.
    • If your website contains a gallery or portfolio of your work, you can send us new images, and we'll ensure they are optimised and sized correctly, then incorporate them into your website.
  6. Making minor design adjustments
    • We can provide minor modifications to your website, including altering the colours, incorporating a new button, or altering the styling of text and other elements, etc.
  7. Adding new sections and/or standard features
    • We can incorporate additional segments to your existing website pages with the available features on our platform. For instance, we could add a 'Meet the team' image & bio to the About Us page or include a video on the homepage.
  8. Editing contact form settings
    • You can ask us to modify your lead generation and contact forms. For example, we can change the recipient who receives the completed form and add or remove questions.
  9. Adding products to the online shop (product details/images supplied by client).
  10. Editing the flow/sequence of existing email marketing automation.


Our service retainer covers a variety of tasks, but it's important to note that certain types of tasks are not included and will involve additional fees. For example;


  1. Creating new, custom-designed content
    • Creating new, custom-designed content and features such as a complete website redesign, new email campaigns and automations, or advanced content functionality such as calculators and advanced step-by-step forms is not included. Such work involves hours of careful planning and development and is beyond our monthly retainer's scope.
  2. 3rd party software
    • We cannot maintain or edit the settings or content within 3rd party software systems you choose to integrate with your website. Additionally, our retainer does not include investigating or resolving problems with 3rd party software. Any issues should be directed to your software provider.
  3. 3rd party email
    • We have no control over the setup or configuration of any email account supplied by another email provider except when connecting it to your domain name, and that's only applicable if Aim High Websites manage that domain. Furthermore, we cannot offer assistance or technical support for your email provider, and any issues should be directed to their support department.
  4. Ongoing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
    • Beyond the scope of work during the initial setup of your website, any ongoing work involving search engine optimisation is beyond the original scope of work.


Please contact this site if you require us to make any changes, as referenced in points 1 to 10. Requests must be;

  • Instructions must be clear.
  • Group information together to avoid misinterpretation of your request.
  • When sending through content, please send the original source file with the correct formatting and layout of how you want it to appear on your website.
  • We are unable to extract or re-write text from photographs or PDF documents.



If it is not covered within the retainer, then this site will provide you with a quotation or attempt to establish a viable workaround included in the design retainer.



SUBSCRIPTION & CANCELLATION


this site monthly subscription is a month-to-month agreement. If you wish to cancel, please inform this site by email at least 10 days before your subscription is usually deducted from your bank account to prevent your account from being charged. Upon a cancellation request, your website, email marketing, and email accounts will become inactive. You may still access the this site dashboard should you wish to resubscribe in the future. 


If applicable, this site will immediately prepare your domain(s) for release to allow you to transfer it to your own domain provider. Please note that a domain transfer can only be initiated by the new domain provider. It is up to the client to submit a transfer request with your new domain provider.



ACCEPTANCE


By proceeding to set up your payment information with the this site payment gateway, and by completing your onboarding questionnaire, you accept the terms and conditions as represented in this document in addition to any conditions set out in your custom project quotation.
